Jerry B. Marshall received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Mercer University and his M.B.A. from Georgia College and State University. A combat veteran of the Vietnam War, Jerry achieved the rank of Captain and was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart while serving in the 101st Airborne Division. He has served as judge of the Municipal Court of the City of Macon, chairman of the Macon Police Department Disciplinary Review Board and as an adjunct professor at both Wesleyan College and Mercer University. Jerry is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Macon Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to personal injury and workers’ compensation, Jerry practices in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate, business law, probate and social security.

Background: Brent received his B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. While at UGA, Brent was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and received the academic distinction of Presidential Scholar. Before attending college, he was very active with the Boy Scouts of America and earned the designation of Eagle Scout.
Work History: During law school, Brent worked with the Atlanta law firm of Franzen & Salzano, a firm specialized in compliance and regulatory matters regarding the mortgage lending and brokering industry. Upon entering the practice of law, Brent worked with the Atlanta law firm of Mary A. Prebula, P.C., a firm specialized in complex business litigation, employment law, corporate law and personal injury. In 2001, Brent moved back to Macon and joined the firm of Mullis, Marshall, Lindley & Powell, where he began practicing solely in personal injury trial litigation. However, he soon found that his clients needed representation in a myriad of areas, which ultimately led Brent to expand his practice to include the representation of several business entities in the areas of collections and business litigation. Moreover, Brent has developed an extensive practice in landlord-tenant law, representing over 60 local and national apartment management companies in eviction cases, contract and procedure analysis, HUD regulatory compliance, federal fair housing defense, employment law and corporate matters.
